I can’t recommend Rocking Horse enough. We’ve been taking our daughter with CP to Rocking Horse for two years, and they’re absolutely terrific with her. Jill, our OT, feels like part of the family and the way our daughter’s face lights up when she does something new on Bart or Buddy is priceless. I entirely credit core strength gains to hippotherapy, and we plan on remaining a part of the Rocking Horse family for years to come.
Rocking Horse Rehab has been such a special place for my son over the last two years. His therapist has become an absolute anchor in his life. She has helped him to grow and develop in ways I wouldn’t have thought possible a few years ago! There is something so special about the combination of a skilled, caring therapist and the serenity of horses and the farm. It has had an incredibly powerful impact on our son.
Two of my children have been receiving therapy at Rocking Horse Rehab for seven years. The days we go to Rocking Horse are their favorite days of the week! The therapists are very knowledgeable and create individualized treatment plans for each child so that he or she gets the maximum benefit from each session, while still making it fun. They are happy to recommend carryover exercises that can be done at home. The owner Sheri and her staff (Carey, Brittany, Ross, etc.) are very experienced and knowledgeable, and care deeply about their patients. They are respectful, communicative, and very responsive to patients’ needs, concerns and questions. And the ponies are adorable! We have had a wonderful experience at Rocking Horse and would recommend it to anyone.
Wonderful place! They truly care about each kid that comes in. Also the horses are so nice and friendly!!
