Thank you Root Health for saving my asthmatic son!
My 14 year old (soccer athlete) son has had asthma since he was 3. His asthma has been well managed until recent years when he’s requiring his rescue inhaler more often. Last winter he became ill with pneumonia for the first time in his life. In less than a year he had pneumonia 4 times! His pulmonologist, urgent care and pediatrician would put him on stronger inhalers, antibiotics, and oral steroids every time. He never recovered in between the diagnosed pneumonia. Was constantly sick. I was at a loss on what to do, taking him to doctors multiple times per week and calling their offices in between for help. After feeling these doctors weren’t doing enough besides sticking a bandaid on him to temporarily give relief, I sought out help from Root Health.
Erin explained how weak his immune system was after continuous inhalers, steroids and antibiotics. She was thorough with explaining everything to me and my son in a way we could understand. Fast forward 2 months after a strict supplement regiment and red light therapy he is healed!
He is not needing his inhalers, has his energy back, and I can’t even remember the last time I heard “Mom, I’m wheezing”. Entering high school and being a soccer athlete on multiple clubs it was so important to him to be able to play and feel good. So thankful for Erin!
I highly recommend seeking help through Root Health for athletes suffering from asthma.

We first sought out Erin for my son due to concerns regarding lack of coordination, fatigue, and seizures- we knew she wasn’t “just” a nutritionist from the very beginning. During my discovery call with Erin she asked “if you had a magic wand, what would you change about your son’s condition” to which I replied- “I know it’s probably not possible but he wouldn’t have seizures any more”. Erin told me it is in fact possible. What I thought would compliment the traditional neurology treatment our son received became the cornerstone of his care. Over time, Erin recommended tests that resulted in dietary recommendations, most importantly removing gluten. My son went an entire year without seizures much to our amazement- this occurred on the heals of a seizure every month for the 1.5 years leading up to this point. He also stopped falling constantly.
Then at the end of this very positive year, all hell broke loose when my son’s health backslid into very regular seizures, extreme fatigue, and other nightmarish symptoms. Erin helped us navigate this in such a loving and wise manner. She worked with our neurologist to bring our son back to health. Based on Erin’s recommendation, we had him tested for strep, and despite having no symptoms at all, he was positive. We were able to pursue care for PANDAS, with which he was diagnosed, and finally had direction in getting our son the care that would bring him back to us. We are still on a path to recovery, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I truly, emphatically cannot overstate Erin’s role in guiding us and caring for our son. If you don’t know where to start- start here. You will be so glad you did!

I love Erin and her staff. Her practice is cozy and they ensure you are welcomed and treated as a person not as a patient with a diagnosis. You are supported holistically and provided with videos and trainings to inform you of their knowledge. Erin's practice goes above and beyond and are much more current and up to date with the latest research in the field to support people nutritionally. I am inspired by Erin. Her commitment to attend conferences to brush on skills and create workshops to inform her members and the public are very inspiring. I have learned so much with her with my Bartonella and Lyme diagnosis. I have a supportive care team through her and a wonderful doctor who is the best Lyme and Bartonella doctor ever who Erin collaborates with. They make a fantastic duo along with her amazing office manager, Allison and the rest of their staff. If you are at your wit's end with health issues, in a position where you don't know where to turn, or you have your back against the wall and are tired of being sick and tired- look no further and fill out her forms online and give her office a call. You will not find better knowledge about the mind-gut connection anywhere else.

I heard about Erin and her team from a fellow mom in a Facebook group. Desperate for answers and guidance for my son, we made an appointment at root health and will forever be grateful to Erin. Watching your child struggle is so difficult but after our first visit with Erin we could tell she was so knowledgeable. She’s patient and easy to work with. Her office is welcoming and cozy, Allison the office manager is always so helpful and pleasant. I have recommended 3 people to Erin so far and would do it over and over again. My son loves going to see her and we are just so grateful to her, for finding the root cause.

Dr. Erin is simply amazing. I have been seeing her and the team for over a year and my gastrointestinal problems were only fixed after that. I saw over 6 doctors prior to coming here, and none of them were able to help me improve my symptoms. Honestly, dr. Erin brought me back to life. Dr. Erin utilizes a homeopathic approach, which I love: getting cured through food and natural medicine (WHENEVER and WHATEVER is really needed). Dr. Erin thinks outside the box, and treats people thinking about the mind-gut connection. I can only thank this amazing group of people for not blending among the average doctors out there, for standing by and really practicing what the real cure is.
