The Round Valley Reservoir is one of my favorite spots in Hunterdon County. I love hopping on the boat after a long day and catching the most incredible sunsets, and if you’re lucky, like I was last night, you might even spot a hot air balloon floating across the sky. The water is crystal clear, perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, or fishing, and there are hiking trails and campsites for the more adventurous. As a local Realtor, I always point out Round Valley to clients moving into Readington and Whitehouse Station because it really showcases the lifestyle and natural beauty that makes this area so special.

Went to this park for a hike via all trails. The trail is a bit snowy/icy but still dooable. The views of this park are stunning. Absolutely gorgeous walk by the water and through the woods. A bit hilly towards the end but nothing that would make this more than an easy walk. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Not very crowded this time of year and loads of parking.

It is a nice park with sand beach and hiking trails. Plenty of parking and restrooms. Lot of seating, tables and BBQ place. I got there at 6 pm. The ticket booth is closed at 5 pm. So free entrance after 5 pm. There is a police car patrolled around, feeling safe. The park is large, I need to drive to another parking lot for hiking. The trail is beautiful on the waterfront. I didn’t finish it because of time constraint. There is also a boat launch place nearby. This park is highly recommended. I will be back again.
