I’m a first time mom and received recommendations to go to this practice and THANK GOODNESS I did. I found out at 14 weeks pregnant I was high risk and at risk of giving birth in premature labor. This practice took the time and care weekly to make sure not only myself but my baby was safe. I am completely indebted to them and a HUGE fan of all the doctors in this office. Everyone is comforting and reassuring.
Most of the doctors are ok… Lundberg is my absolute favorite and I love that man. The other doctors I get frustrated with because they talk to their patients like they’re absolute idiots. They don’t hear their patients out, are not listening to understand and constantly interrupt, which prevents them from understanding the patient’s concerns and addressing them effectively. Then, it’s time wasted and frankly, poor advice doled out as a result etc. It’s really frustrating to not feel understood! The rest of the staff is generally very helpful though and I’ve had very few issues with them.
As a first-time mom, I was initially hesitant about joining a group practice where I wouldn’t know exactly which doctor would deliver my baby. But working with the RWJ OBGYN group completely put me at ease. Every doctor I saw was experienced, kind, and provided me with well-rounded, thoughtful care throughout my pregnancy.
I ended up having a scheduled induction with Dr. Patel, and I can’t say enough good things about her. I chose to schedule my final office visit with her before delivery, and she took the time to walk me through every step of the induction process, which helped calm my nerves. Labor and delivery went incredibly smoothly thanks to her guidance and support. I truly felt safe and cared for from start to finish.
