If you're reading this because you see a book you want in the online shop don't hesitate to buy from Second Time Books! I called them a couple of times to ask questions about a book they had listed and both of the people I talked to were so incredibly kind. They packed the book with care and it made it all the way across the country with no problem. Would definitely buy from them again!
I’ve visited all sorts of bookstores, from the Strand to Shakespeare and Company. But, my favorite book store is Second Time Books. Nearly my entire collection of physical books is comprised of secondhand books I’ve purchased here. The selection is wide, the books are in great quality, and the prices are unbeatable. The store is charming and the staff is just terrific. There was a time that I left behind a shopping bag while browsing and the extremely kind Roxanne (I’m sorry if I misremembered your name, I’m the worst) walked out of the store to search for me and return my bag. Please check out Second Time Books and give them your patronage, you won’t be disappointed.
Multiple rooms of books with an extremely large variety of genres, very organized, and excellent prices! They have some newer books with painted spines & signed.
It's within a little "town" strip with a few others shops/places to eat. Definitely worth a stop if you are a book lover, or even if you just enjoy a book or two here and there!
(Not great photos-totally forgot to take some)
My Favorite Secondhand Bookstore Ever!
Second Time Books is an absolute gem. The selection is incredible—rows and rows of well-loved books just waiting to be discovered. Prices are super reasonable, and the overall vibe is cozy and welcoming.
What really set this visit apart was the staff. The guy helping us out was so kind and knowledgeable—he even recommended a bunch of upcoming book-related events in the area, which was awesome! It’s clear they really care about the book community and fostering a love of reading.
If you’re a book lover, this place is a must. I could spend hours here and still not see it all. Can’t wait to go back!
Cool used bookstore that has an entire room dedicated to SciFi, fantasy and horror. While I couldn't find several of the books/authors that were suggested to me, I had no problems finding other books instead. They have plenty of other fiction and non fiction to peruse. I can't remember the last time I bought this many books for only $25.
