Sink or Swim Tattoo Parlor

I couldn’t be happier with my new tattoo from Trav. He was super responsive and really informative when it came to sizing and placement, which made the whole process feel easy and collaborative. Beyond that, Trav is an incredible artist and you can tell how skilled and thoughtful he is in his work. The tattoo itself is beautiful. It’s honestly one of the best tattoos I’ve gotten. Highly recommend and would absolutely go back (already planning my next one!)

I’m from the area but I live in Alabama now so I booked a full day with Trav and he absolutely killed it! definitely the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Trav took the time to redraw the design when I wasn’t 100% happy with it and was super chill about it. A full day is rough on the body but I felt super safe and taken care of throughout the whole process. Trav is a real stand up guy and his work is phenomenal. As a full time student with a full time job, I really appreciate I can get amazing work from Trav at a really reasonable price. He’s the best, thanks so much!!! I will be back!!! :)

I have been following Trav’s work for years and finally was able to book with him before he opened Sink or Swim. His work far outshines every other tattoo that I have so far and I plan to be back for many more. I genuinely thought my skin was not meant for tattoos the way the rest of mine had been healing but the pomegranate I got from him proved that to be so wrong. The quality of his work speaks for itself. I got a beetle from Trav this session and initially the design wasn’t quite what I had in mind but he was more than willing to work with me and redraw it and I am so thankful for that. I usually have a hard time speaking up but Trav’s shop is such a comfortable environment that I was able to say something. The original piece he showed me was beautiful and I would have been happy to have it but he took my input and created something perfect for me. Can’t wait to be back and finish up the sleeve!

I’ve had multiple tattoos done by Travis, before he opened Sink or Swim and now I just had one done at Sink or Swim. He’s always been very professional, very detailed and very kind. I highly recommend him and his tattoo parlor to anyone who loves traditional style. Bonus: it’s all vegan and cruelty free which is also amazing!

Trav is insanely talented, down-to-earth, and makes every session a great experience from start to finish. Any sense of ego is left at the door. On my first trip, he knocked out five tattoos in two days. On my second trip, I came back for three more. I travel from Tampa, FL all the way to NJ just to see him because both the work and the atmosphere are worth every mile.

The shop’s got a classic, traditional vibe with walls of flash art, great energy, and a crew that’s as friendly as they come. I’ve even had the pleasure of meeting Trav’s family and they’re just as welcoming as he is. I can’t recommend Sink or Swim enough.
