The Food Shack

We just love this quaint little breakfast & lunch place ! Very delicious cup of coffee while enjoying the sun come up! It’s just on the tip of the boardwalk by a few hotels , white Sands example, . You just take a small walk on the very beginning of boardwalk and there you are!! It opens at 7:30 and I actually miss it there’s. Met done friendly vacationers and owner takes pride in what she has there and she should. A diamond in the rough. It also has a little gift shop with really nice things! Can’t wait to visit next summer!

My family and I loved having breakfast here. We came here 2 days in a row.

We all liked the fact that there was something for everyone. From a toddler to us grandparents and in between. 🤩

I built my omelet, had my home fries, and while wheat toast with marmalade. Fruit cups for the kids, avocado toast for my daughter. Everything was PERFECT both days.

Our servers (David and Madison) were EXCELLENT! I'm picky with certain things, and both handled my needs to a "tea".

The Food Shack is an amazing place with a warm, family-style vibe. The staff is absolutely fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food? Incredible. Everything is freshly cooked and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish. Highly recommend!

I discovered this charming little spot on Instagram, and since I was staying in the area, I figured I would check them out. I have visited Point Pleasant so many times in the past 10+ years, and it amazes me that I have never heard of this place before....and I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner.

This place and everything about it is totally awesome. The service I have received from the young waitstaff was kind, courteous, and attentive, and the food here is great. Word to the wise..they open at 7:30am so I suggest if you want a table for either inside or out, you need to get here as early as possible as tables go super fast. For the three days I was in Point Pleasant, I made it a point to arrive prior to them opening.

For being a small place they have a good size menu and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a cute little shop with good gift ideas and changing stations.

This is one of the best eateries in the area, and I will definitely come back the next time I am in Point Pleasant.

Great spot right on the boardwalk in Point, paid parking right behind the restaurant or free street parking all over. Scan the QR code and prepare for a wait. Both indoor and outdoor seating as well as some counter space. Owner and staff are incredible friendly and we were sat pretty quick for a Sunday morning. Menu has all the staples and reasonable prices. The Mueller's Tiffany Raisin Bread is top notch (highly recommend). Eggs were perfectly over easy and the home fries were killer. Perfect with a nice cold Port Coffee Cold Brew. Will definitely be back to try more
