Baron had TPLO surgery here in November 2025, it went very well and he's back to himself now. Everyone I interacted with was great, helpful and friendly. Dr Schwartz was very knowledgeable and patient with my million questions. Care was amazing and I highly recommend if your pet needs surgery!!!
My dog Mia tore her ACL and we were referred to another surgeon who charged close to $10k plus for the same surgery with a la carte pricing.
We came to Dr. Schwartz at Veterinary Surgical Specialists. Dr. Schwartz is honest, trustworthy, and dedicated. His office staff is wonderful and they put our minds at ease.
The pricing is transparent and affordable compared to the competitors.
I highly recommend him for anyone’s pet that is in need of surgery.
Dr Schwartz is excellent. A very detailed man who explains what options are. He is also a caring pet owner himself. As I found out when he shared about his cats and his love for them when they got sick. He wears a necklace with paw prints on it for each one.
He is also the best at what he does, he is thorough in his surgery and after care. I could always reach him with any concerns. His staff was so kind towards me and my dog , Toto.
I had a truly great experience at VSS while caring for my senior dog, Dexter (14), who had cancer in his elbow. It was a very hard and long road to recovery, especially given Dexter’s age, but VSS made the entire process so much more manageable and comforting. The entire staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and they genuinely care about both pets and their owners. I am beyond thankful for Dr. Schwartz and his amazing team for giving me extra precious time with my Dexter boy. I will always be grateful for the compassion and care we received.
Dr. Schwartz and his team especially Jenny and Alesha were absolutely amazing! They were incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process. He did my pup's TPLO surgery on both knees and I couldn't have asked for better care. From the initial consultation to post-op follow-ups, even off hours, emails were answered quickly. Everything was handled with such professionalism and compassion. Thank you all so, so much for taking such great care of my pup. Highly recommend! 10 stars if I could!!!!
