They get both parts right: what you eat and how you're treated. Food comes out looking exactly right. Everything here meets high cleanliness standards. The staff delivered excellent service and everyone offered support! {petite} maman represents a return to proper restaurant standards.
This is a lovely little café with really nice staff. I especially love their cappuccinos. They are experts making them and they each come out so tasty. Coming to this café, brightens my day. The staff are especially nice and friendly thank you to all of them
Maman is a trustworthy experience all over the city (been to their one in Cobble Hill where you can enjoy a seat- this location only has one 2-person table). I got an espresso (and when I asked the barista to add ice after and a little half & half, he was amenable to my specific request). Also got the chocolate banana bread, which was good, and probably even better if I take some home and reheat it- it’s huge- there will be leftovers!). Almost went for the seasonal peach danish, but will try that next time.
This charming petite Maman shop is the perfect spot for a quick morning coffee and pastry. Their freshly baked goods, like buttery croissants and decadent muffins, are a delight to start the day with. The sandwiches are thoughtfully prepared, offering a satisfying choice for a light breakfast or snack. When it comes to beverages, their mocha, rich and velvety with a hint of sweetness, and the cappuccino, frothy and aromatic, are both enjoyable options. However, do note that the coffee tends to be on the warmer side rather than steaming hot. The service is warm and inviting, adding to the overall experience, although the shop does not have any seating for customers.
Overall rating: 4.8
Price: $17 per sandwich w/ tip
Absolute gem of a place hidden away from the crowds near the movie theater. I’m very close to trying all of the sandwiches so I’m using this review as a log of my favorites so I know.
