Very honest! I brought my suspected bad alternator in for testing. Even though he had the brand new replacement on the shelf, my alternator still tested good! The gentleman gave me a few words of advice and I was on my way to continue with the diagnosis.

They were very knowledgeable, knew exactly what I needed and knew exactly what to tell me to do. I did everything. They explained to me and everything worked out wonderful, easy-going, and the pleasure to do business with.

tested my grandson’s alternator and freed up the rotation. He explained that alternators get tight when not run regularly. Showed me a new (good quality aftermarket) unit but we decided to give the old one a try. Would not take any $ for his efforts. Wonderful experience.

Quality is so important with automotive (and truck) electrical components. I feel within the past several years, the large auto part distributors have poor quality on their alternators and starters. A&S is a small hole in the wall where you will find super knowledgeable, super fair, and excellent quality components. My go to spot, even though it is 1 hour away from me. Worth the drive every time.

Brought in starter for 20HP Onan engine. Immediately waited on and starter bench tested. Diagnosis was starter was in good working order and problem was no doubt internal wire on my tractor and I should trace it back to find issue. ZERO charge for bench check and wiring advice! A&S is a great local business.....excellent service, highly recommend!!!
