Absolutely Outstanding Experience!
I can’t say enough good things about Access Hearing and Michael. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. I came in with a single hearing aid I’d purchased elsewhere a few years back—oh, how I wish I had known about Access Hearing then!
My hearing had changed, and I was struggling to hear clearly. For a very reasonable fee, Michael adjusted my device to absolute perfection and even unlocked features I didn’t know it had. He took his time, listened carefully to what I wanted, and made sure every detail was right.
I left hearing better than I have in years—and smiling the whole way home. From now on, I’ll be getting all of my hearing devices from Access Hearing. Highly recommend to anyone who wants top-notch care and personal attention for their hearing needs!
Michael is very responsive when you call for an appointment. He wears hearing aids so he has first knowledge of what it’s like. I have worn hearing aides for 10 years and I find he has the best knowledge of fitting the aids of anyone I have encountered. You won’t be disappointed going to him.
I was in Poughkeepsie on vacation (from Seattle) & discovered I'd left my hearing aid charger at home. There was still 7 days of vacation left. I am deaf without my aids. Mike Ruffen heard my voicemail & opened his shop - ON A SUNDAY- to help me find a charger that would work for my aids. I highly recommend Mike's business. If he is that considerate for a one time non-repeat customer, I can only imagine the high degree of excellence he provides his regular customers!

Just bought my second pair hearing aids from Michael at Access Hearing Service. There are many places around me that sell hearing aids, but I travel one hour (and would happily go longer) to get the help and deep skills that Michael provides. Fantastic service -- can't get any better!
Michael is very professional, thorough, patient and compassionate. He spent all the time I needed to learn about my new hearing aids, and what to expect from the experience. He was readily available to answer my questions when I called him on several occasions after seeing him, and he encouraged me not to hesitate to call again with any other questions I may have.I highly recommend Access hearing services!!
