My fiance and I had a fantastic experience for lunch at American Bounty. Everything was delicious from our very first bite of bread with olive oil (for real, the bread is so good) to our last bite of dessert! The lamb meatballs were probably the best meatballs I’ve personally ever had— great flavor and extremely juicy. Overall the price for the quality can’t be beat. We also both enjoyed a cocktail which were excellent, as well as coffee with our dessert. The student servers were very nice and did a great job. Love that it is 100% student run. Those kids can cook!!!!!!!
Finally had a chance to experience CIA😁 There are three well known restaurants inside. Can't get into any without reservation. Refuse to leave without eating. Managed to settle in American Bounty's nice cute bar area, with a small menu. Glad we did. Ordered two very nicely prepared and presented dishes, trout and Shepards Pie(lamb). Very very good!!! Received excellent service also. You know these restaurants are staffed by students??!! Will definitely be back to CIA to experience the rest!!!
We had lunch at American Bounty. It’s a wonderful experience. The student wait staff is extremely polite and courteous. Food was delicious (shout out to the octopus appetizer, the trout and banana cream dessert). We had a wonderful time. Make sure to book the reservation in advance (it’s about a month away from the time of booking for us)
I had an incredible dinner at American Bounty. Thanks to my friend who is a CIA student, we were able to get the best seats in the house and tour the kitchen after we ate! Everything I had was exceptional! The oysters were extremely fresh, the duck entree paired with a glass of Chaos Theory red wine was amazing and lastly the Dulcey Bar dessert was the perfect ending to the night. The service and atmosphere was also fantastic.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion I can’t recommend CIA Restaurants enough!
I loved this place. It's an affordable fine dining experience with very good food and a lovely atmosphere in a gorgeous campus and equally gorgeous restaurant. I would call the dishes contemporary, not particularly original compared to NYC, but definitely stand in their own.
It's a student restaurant, they cook and wait the tables, so some mistakes are unavoidable, but they set the bar at fine dining and they deliver.
