Al and his team did a great job of designing, managing the permit process and installing the equipment. They were very accommodating, neat and respectful of my home while they worked. The always found the time to answer my questions during the whole process. Their prices were competitive in my area. What sold me on them was that I felt like it was a partnership and that they would be there for me after the install.

I have been looking to purchase a solar battery as back up for my solar array and trying to educate myself on what would be a good choice for such an expensive purchase. For me, with little experience in the technical workings of batteries,trying to sort out the impact of different aspects of the specifications of a battery and how it might compare with similar batteries was a hard task.

Fortunately, I was directed by a battery manufacturer’s website (Franklin) to one of their certified installers, B & G Energy, and called them and left a message that was promptly return later in the day. I was cold calling this installer and pleasantly surprised to speak with an extremely knowledgeable electrical engineer, Al Flores, who freely gave me over an hour of his time, the benefit of his considerable experience in the solar battery field, and was extremely patient in explaining in simple language the pros and cons of the batteries I am considering. He showed a genuine concern with advancing my scant knowledge and also,quietly and persuasively, championing the social importance of solar energy.

I think it important to acknowledge this everyday contribution to the sharing of informed expertise and the importance of affirming the societal importance of adopting renewal energy.
