Coaches know what they’re doing. Always a great time and accessible for all levels. Great challenge, always feel strong after. Highly recommend!
I really love coming to the gymnastics classes here with coach Nazar!!
In just a few short months I went from having no experience at all to learning how to do pullovers, ring muscle ups, and other gymnastics skills.
The facilities are nice with plenty of equipment, tall ceilings, plenty of space, aircon, a nice bathroom, cubbies for your stuff, a water fountain etc.
Give BK Fit a try for crossfit or gymnastics, you won't be disappointed!
I started here as a novice doing personal training with trainer Bonnie. They got me rehabbed from an old injury that I sustained at another gym.
BKfit bushwick made it easy to scale from my very out of shape self to now 2 years later being in the best shape of my life.
If you’re a beginner, they are so happy to explain and scale without making you feel intimidated
Been a member for almost five years now!
The coaches are solid across the board. Everyone brings their own vibe to the class, but they're good at providing instruction and support to beginners while supporting more experienced athletes in continuing to develop their fitness.
Physically, the Bushwick location is well-appointed. Plenty of equipment and space for the number of people in the classes. Also, it's got A/C ❄️
The programming is well-chosen. They recently switched from NCFIT to PRVN, which does a much better job of providing realistic scaling options for people who are not 20-year-old firebreathers.
Finally, the gymnastics class run by Nazar Okleka is outstanding — Tuesday nights are a high point in my week. Once you've built up a bit of strength, the class really gives you the chance to build new skills that you don't have time to develop when you're doing WoDs. Nazar's got progressions to build people up to skills on the bar, rings, and handstands, no matter where you're starting from.
