    I don't think I'd ever actually exercised in my life before starting with Yoo Mi a few months ago. She's an incredible (and incredibly patient) teacher. My knees used to crack and my body used to ache and it's all fixed. And even more miraculous, I somehow enjoy exercising. I would do it every day if I could. Cannot recommend more highly.

    I had my first private pilates lesson with Yoomi today and it is unlike any other pilates class I've tried. She analyzes your posture and makes it a point to correct your movements throughout the lesson. Her level of detail is refreshing and I'm looking forward to more lessons with her!

    UPDATE:
    It's been several months since I started taking private pilates lessons with Yoomi and I wanted to update my review. As a dentist, my shoulders and neck is always sore and my posture is pretty abysmal. But all of this has improved drastically since I started doing pilates with Yoomi. My body always feel so much better after each session and its a great "reset button" for those hard days in the middle of the week.

    I always get a great workout with her but Yoomi also makes the experience fun and relaxing at the same time. She is very easy to talk to and we always have a great laugh whenever I make a silly mistake. Thanks to her instruction, my body is more toned and I can even see abs now! She has helped me so much in getting prepared for my wedding. I used to lift weights at the gym but that made me appear bulkier than I would like. Pilates is definitely the opposite of that as I can see myself becoming more lean.

    All in all, I cannot recommend Yoomi enough. Do yourself a favor and give her a try!

    1:1 Classes with yoomi are not only fun but oddly enough relaxing. I almost feel like i’ve received a massage instead of feeling sore from the workouts. I personally love that she has helped improve my posture since her initial evaluation/assessment nearly a year and a half ago. My body usually feels really tight but after sessions with yoomi, my body feels relaxed and lighter.
    I highly recommend taking classes with her, especially one on one, if you know you have areas that you want to correct or address.

    YooMi is an amazing teacher! She helped me to get ready for my wedding and I have been taking classes with her ever since. I’ve even brought my husband to take classes. She is very detailed and every class is personalized to you! I am always looking forward to my classes with her!

    YooMi is the best barre teacher I've ever had. I've been following her around to classes at different studios since 2018 and am so happy she opened her own studio! Her background in ballet makes this class way more dance influenced than your regular barre classes and there is also a lot more cardio involved. Overall I feel it's a better total body workout. Plus, YooMi always gives great hands on corrections to make sure your alignment is correct so you get the most benefit from all of the exercises. She really is the best.
