The class was great! Emily provided a lot of individualized feedback to our small class. Emily's class highlighted to me there are definite ways I can improve my form. I was also unconscious of the ways that my body tenses up, so it was really amazing to have different elements of my form (locked knees, tension in shoulders) highlighted to me in a 50 minute class. Also, Emily's warm, approachable, and obviously highly knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend!
A beautiful, warm, and welcoming studio. I've enjoyed all of the classes, but I particularly loved the cardio pilates class! Excellent way to get the heart rate up with very low impact on joints. I felt energized and strong at the end of class
One of the best decisions I ever made in my life was joining Craft Pilates and starting my Pilates journey in June 2025.
The studio is clean with a fresh modern aesthetic. (Had to throw that word in here.) The owner, Maayan, is the best! The instructors are fantastic. You will have a wonderful workout in a clean calming space.
I come here several days a week, sometimes twice a day. While I was traveling, I missed my Pilates classes more than I missed anything else in New York.
If you are considering starting Pilates and feel scared, come here. You will feel welcome. You will love yourself more. My body is the healthiest it has ever been in my life. I am stronger in all ways.
No matter what, even if I come in feeling tired, I always leave feeling more energized, positive and focused — ready to tackle the day!
I truly cannot say enough good things about this studio!!!
(Writing this review on a Monday morning after Pilates class.)
Had a private session with Sasha and WOW—she is absolutely amazing! Most of us were total first-timers, and she made the whole experience feel effortless with her patience, encouragement, and clear teaching. Even when one of us fell off the reformer (rookie move 😅), Sasha was right there, calm, helpful, and kept the vibes light and fun. From booking the private class to wrapping up our session, everything was seamless and stress-free. Craft Pilates is such a gem, and I’m beyond grateful to have this incredible studio right here in Park Slope. Can’t recommend it enough!
Wow, I truly felt so at peace in this place. The high ceilings, the tranquil and inclusive environment made me feel like I could really do my best here. No judgement, no prying eyes from the street (light curtains for privacy). The instructors are kind and supportive, without being overly peppy. I came in for a private with the owner and was amazed at how much I learned and how much it burned after just 10 min.
As a former gymnast, yogi, and having suffered numerous hip and knee injuries, I am a stickler for form. I am not into all those classes where they do high-energy adaptations of the real thing and move you quickly from one move into the next. In this class, form matters. I learned how to NOT hurt myself and adapt for my injuries. I learned where to focus my attention to maximize the impact of each move. And they kept reminding me to breathe and to lead with my breath -- super important that they understood that each person has a natural rhythm, all guided by their breath. That's how you know they're the real deal.
They also have grippy socks and drinks for sale if you need any and have a super simple sticker system for purchase, which I found really useful because I didn't have cash. I noticed some Pressed Juicery, too! :)
Don't wait. If you've been thinking about coming, but weren't sure, this is your sign to just do it. You won't regret it!
