I always feel like I’m at a resort when I’m there. Very clean, the setup is great and designed for each and every age group. Well staffed. I love how you can gradually walk out into the pool without just having to get in the water all at one time(yes, I’m a senior, lol)plenty of areas to get out of the sun and enjoy some shade. Reasonable prices. I get it a 5 any day.
Byron has come a long way since I first moved to Oakdale. They recently just redid their pool and it appears to be very nice. The park itself is alright and it’s taken care of pretty well. The lake itself is and always has been disgusting, but still serves as a lasting memory for many kids who have grown up in Oakdale. Byron also is one of the few parks that has a pool camp under the Parks and Rec department and the counselors/supervisors are great.
Open For 2024 Season!!! Brand New everything, food place not open as of 6/29 . Nice shaded areas , plenty of seats and Lounge Chairs. All day fun for childern 🤩
Pretty nice park, a terrible looking lake to walk around, the water is so stagnant and gross looking besides the 2 water fountains. The park is a lot bigger than I first thought coming here. With 2 jungle gyms depending on kid sizes, multiple swings for all ages and a nice town pool as well. The highlight of this park is the gazebo in the middle of the water just over a short bridge. BUT yet again the water itself it disgusting!!!
