We passed by the hatchery on the yellow trail route and was greeted by a flock of geese flying over the bridge. I enjoyed the fish decorations towards the hatchery, though the fish are quite cluttered and hard to see, especially from a floor above.
Much of the area is restricted, so not much to go to
The red trail is a bit further down and was blocked by a row of geese, so we skipped it

Cool spot to visit. You can park in the main lot and take a 20-minute hike or you could drive right up to the hatchery. Baby trout, big trout, talking trout. You name it they got it

This is a great place to go fly fishing and walk some amazing trails. There is wildlife around every bend.

Beautiful park, very big, nice trails and lakes and rivers to fish in. I am a NYS Park Steward and I am constantly patrolling the trails and helping people with directions or clearing a trail so it may be used. Please help by leaving no trace you were ever in our park, that is to say whatever you come in with, take out of the park with you, leave no garbage or anything you brought into the park, stay on marked trails and enjoy the natural beauty of mother nature.
