Good place for relaxing
You can see Hudson river there
One of my favorite places to catch the sunset on the Hudson. Beautiful views. They have great hiking trails, even city folks will enjoy. They have some cool historic buildings, ample rustic nature and plenty of parking. Highly recommend a visit.
Beautiful place to walk with sweeping views of the Hudson River from Mid-Hudson Bridge to the north and down to West Point in the south. Benches and picnic tables on the grounds. A woodland trail meanders along the Hudson River. Enjoyed investigating what appears to be an old carriage house. Kind of looks like the home of the Addams Family 👻.
Lovely grounds for a morning or evening stroll. The grounds have old buildings. Lovely green grass, and walking trails in the woods. Paved parking area. You can walk your dogs on a leash on paved areas grass and trails.
My great nephew is the curator of the museum & he and his dad spent countless hours remolding the museum.
They did a wonderful job. Please make a point to go and visit. Walk the grounds of Carnwath Farms, where the Sports Museum is located. This place is Hudson Valleys hidden gem.
