A beautiful park! Very well maintained and the perfect spot for a quiet walk, hike, or jog. This is a pristine lake that has a 4 1/2 mile trail around it. The trail is a bit hilly on the Eastern shore, but not challenging at all. The western half of the trail is very flat, but turns and winds enough to be interesting. Obviously the views in almost every season are gorgeous and during colder times in the winter, the lake freezes over, for unique experience! There is also a clean well-maintained, children’s play area near the entrance parking lot. A large community recreational center will be completed there soon.

My children and I go there often. We have a pass because we live right up the road. And we can either play at the playground, throw a little barbecue, walk down the trail, go fishing for the day, or anything else within reason that my children would love to do or myself. I can even take my dogs there as well. I love how they have memorial benches for the deceased too! Such beautiful scenari.

Quite a big lake. About 5 miles of walking trails around the lake. Picnic areas, boat rentals, playground +2 parking lots that I saw. Bathrooms. Benches and gazebos along the trails incase you need to rest. The staff is friendly and answered the questions thar we had.

A beautiful walk, lake and park. The walking trail is very well marked, well maintained and informative, with markers telling the history of the lake as you go. It is like a piece of paradise in your backyard. Also has a playground, picnic tables, boat rentals and spots to go fishing.

Visited today as an out of towner and got the year pass. The man at the gate was very informative and polite. The process took about five minutes and cost 40 bucks cash or check, unless you're a local. There is a trail around the whole lake, not paved but bike-able and a very nice walk. There are swans and fishing spots as well as boat rentals with oars, or you can bring a ln electric trolling motor to attach to a rental boat. Definitely coming back soon.
For families, a massive very nice park that's like 3 jungle gyms combined surrounded by swings and smaller activities. It's directly by the parking lot and still boasts a nice lake view.
