Mary McTamaney brings history to life! Go to a cocktails and collections meeting, you will not be disappointed!
A lovely and well maintained house in the heart of the Newburgh historical district.
The house also has an impressive documents room/library that contains important local historical materials.
Their annual Candle Light Tour event gives folks an opportunity to see some other historical homes in the greater Newburgh area. This event is not to be missed!
They have other events throughout the year that are also worth attending, like their parlor talks and their annual croquet outing in Downing Park in Newburgh.
I'm grateful that this local treasure is being cared for so we can all continue to enjoy it for years to come.
Excellent place in Newburgh, New York.
I entirely stayed outside. I was around it primarily just in the passing through on foot . For the walking to be more healthy than checking out the cool Crawford house. I will do that sometime soon. Historic spots are an awesome thing in thier own right .
Great way to find alot about Newburgh, it's history
