Through the valleys, and over the mountains lies a magical place, where rice is turned into nectar. The brewery produces some of the finest Junmai Daiginjo on the planet. We attended a special lunch event with Chef Tasuku Murakami. He prepared a fantastic omakese menu that paired with the different Dassai. They also offer a variety of other services such as guided tours, audio tours, Sake tastings, lunch and dinner pairings, as well as purchasing of their flagship products. Highly recommend all sake enthusiasts visit and experience everything Dassai has to offer.
Ah.. I love SAKE.
My first visit here was awesome, and Dasai is one of my favorite sakes.
The service was great, and they provides the detail information about the sake.
I love the environment. It's beautiful elegant and quiet, great atmosphere 👍✨️
We'll be back for the sake tour.
Highly Recommended for Sake Lovers 💕
Awesome brewery for sake
They have flights so you can try a variety. You can take tours if you want. We came for drinks and the Sushi 🍣. They have a chef preparing it in the spot with the same type of rice used for sake 🍶.
The staff was nice some were new so there was a little wait for the drinks. The grounds are beautiful. In the summer it's great to be on the outside drinking and having good conversations.
Fantastic experience at this new, spacious sake brewery! The grounds are beautiful and pristine, with a large amount of parking. They offer guided tours, but we opted to stop in for a tasting instead. Although on the pricey side, there is a lot of history with this brand, and products had a delicious taste. Francesca was extremely kind and gracious, answering all of our questions and guiding us through the tasting process. Highly recommended and cannot wait to return!
While dining in the CIA this past weekend, we decided to visit a sake brewery. Having been to countless wineries, distilleries, and beer breweries, sake was a first for us. Tasting was $51/person via online booking, which came with 3 glasses of tasting (generous pour), and a choice of food selection including a cheese plate, trout, and duck. We opted to upgrade 2 portions to the sushi (extra $15/person) and shared that amongst the five of us, which worked out perfectly. I’d suggest the marketing team drop the $1 booking fee or build that into the total as it seemed a bit petty to ask for that.
Our tour guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask questions. For someone that has traveled to 95 countries, I definitely learned something new about the sake-making process.
The tasting itself was well organized - the three sake choices were very tasty and the five of us all found a “grade” that suited our needs. A very nice bonus for the management team for recognizing that we were there during their “festival/open house” weekend, so each of us received a bottle of the 50 for free.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience and even got to take part in the “festival” by making origami. But I could see this place being overwhelmed if the weather becomes nicer.
