Went there on a Friday night, food was amazing. Atmosphere was very upscale and there were lots of decorations. Long wait at the beginning and waitresses were spacey but once I sat down, they were nice. Must have dumplings.
Ordered delivery by calling the restaurant. While I did manage to order, I experienced the most abrasive and unwelcoming customer service. Guess this is one of the few Chinese food offerings in the area so people tolerate the rudeness. My recommendation is that the restaurant take orders online, as being hung up on after a difficult call without a “thank you” or “goodbye” is the icing on the cake.
The food was ok, but I have had better. Tried the beef & broccoli (4/5), chicken chow fun (2/5) and the chicken & eggplant (3.5/5).
Delivery was quick and I was surprised to even get my order after the initial phone order experience.
Delicious Cantonese fair at this Armonk eatery. Everything was excellent, we had vegetarian hot & sour soup, vegetable lo mein and shrimp egg foo young. The egg foo young was packed with shrimp and light and fluffy, not greasy at all. A definite go back to try other menu items. Friendly service, plenty of parking.
Best Chinese Food in Westchester County, no contest. As a NYC native and recent suburban transplant, this restaurant is hallowed ground. Their Chicken and Broccoli is among the best I’ve ever had in NY State.
Update:
Well, seems a different chef from years ago when i didn't enjoy the food. As an Asian descent, I know good Asian food. I am really so hungry and have no time to go to my go to Chinese place so I ventured back to David Chen to give it a try. I am glad I did. Their beef chow mei fun is spot on. And for Armonk, price is reasonable. Humongous serving size too plus soup included. Important to mention , it's not swimming in oil . Highly recommended.

5 star for overall experience. I ordered my favorite chicken pan fried noodle and though taste isn't exactly I was used to , I enjoyed it a lot. Also, the size was humongous. Price was very reasonable. I was served tea with the biggest tea pitcher and ambiance was nice... like the traditional Chinese restaurant with big chandelier. Both owner and staff were very nice. Highly recommended.
