Great experience and the owner was super helpful and quick to respond to texts and calls. The shop has a very cool organic vibe and so may not be a good fit for a high maintenance, fussy big box generic pet store type of customer who needs a lot of attention. It looked to me like the owner is dedicated to his animals and puts their welfare first, which is the way it should be.
I've had nothing but good experiences here and can only imagine how much time and effort it takes to keep all the different types of exotic animals happy and healthy. I read some of these whiny comments from a few unhappy customers and I think that they probably got what they gave and may not be taking into consideration circumstances involved in operating a specialized shop like this one.. try a little kindness people, it will come back to you.
Owner is friendly and helpful, and appears to take great care of the animals in his shop. We bought 2 pet rats, Simon and Teddy, and are very happy with our new pets.
I enjoy being a customer here and its always nice to talk to John and learn some new things. He is very helpful and always willing to get products that you need promptly. He has lots of cool animals and supplies to choose from.
I highly recommed stopping into this pet store!
