A paved scenic walkway through wooded areas, past a couple parking lots and over bridges that span rte 55 and Wappinger Creek.
Great trail that's part of the Empire state trail.
I love this area as it's all paved and going through lots of woods.
There's some bridges which mostly go over roads,some over water streams, and if you go north you can go over the HudsonRiver, it's all paved!
Really nice linear park. Connects to the Walkway Over the Hudson. Very enjoyable ride here with many benches to take a break and lots of information about the history of the trail. There is also a nice veterans mile with all the branches of the military represented.
Nice place for walking /bike riding!!better enjoy ;parking near town hall.
This is one of the best maintained trails that I have been on. I have been on trails in other parts of NY, MA, VA, DC, PA. Easy level walk, tranquil environment. Convent parking lots and public rest rooms. Picnic tables and benches are along the trail.
