FARMERS DELI N GRILL

I’ve been coming to this deli here in New Windsor for almost a year and everything changed since the original cashier was let go while visiting family in his country. The food has always been great until today’s sandwich I received for lunch. I had the chicken salad for the first time and it didn’t taste very good. I had a few bites and had to throw the rest of the sandwich in the trash cause the chicken salad was going bad. I’ve worked in deli’s for a number of years and know when a salad is going bad especially when it comes out of a container. I’m well aware there’s a first time for everything and things happen, but this is food we’re talking about. Other than that the and the staff are very nice and friendly. What needs to change is the way orders are being taken. More time needs to be spent making sure orders are correct when someone orders. A few times my order wasn’t done right and it was too late to bring it back especially when the traffic starts to pickup on 207. But today was entirely different which was why I’m writing this review in hopes of things getting better. Never before did I ever have any problems with ordering when the last guy was there. I know and understand it may take people time to get use to doing things, but time is money and money is time, and I can’t afford to lose the time I’m given for lunch of my order isn’t done right.

I've been coming here for the last 2 years since they opened and have never been disappointed. Employees are always friendly and food is good. They have a large menu and use good quality deli meats.

Food is so good! Love their chicken fingers with fries love the chicken over rice and I just got me a chicken cutlet. I’m about to try that out and see how that most likely amazing and they just opened up inside the store. They added a smoothie shake bar and have cake and fruit. Gotta give it up to the man that made my Oreo shake Oreo obsession. It’s called taste amazing thank you so much.

If you’re in town, or have never been here, it’s a MUST STOP By location. We’re out of town, they were beyond welcoming, kind, and just overall amazing people.
Picture doesn’t do justice, but the lamb and rice is one of the best thing I’ve had in a long time, with reasonable price and generous portions. Also their smoothie selection is amazing as well. There’s too many good things to write it all down, come see it yourself
