Great place to stay! Very clean and staff is friendly
Right of Route 22 behind Berkshire Liquor Store, this motel is quieter than one would expect. Some noise from the passing traffic penetrates, and MetroNorth's train whistles are audible at this distance. Room comfortable though no frills. Standard amenities of a mini fridge, microwave, digital alarm clock, a broken television and a spartan desk in the corner. Bathroom cramped but the toilet works well and the hot water flows nicely. NO smoke detector in the room, which is worrisome. Efficient reception which accepts cash and credit/debit (sorry, no Bitcoin yet). No exterior illumination late at night.
Good value overall. Two comfortable beds with clean linens, an effective thermostat, a small microwave and mini fridge, and a television (which I could not get to work). Bathroom cramped but water runs hot. Spartan desk in the corner. Payment in credit/debit accepted, as well as cash. Good receptionist. NO smoke detector in the room, which violates fire codes. Nor is there exterior illumination in the night.
The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was very small but adequate. The bed was very comfy. It was the best sleep I've had on this trip.
Small but relatively clean motel! Nice staff but just a little too expensive for what it is, but is you can afford it well enough, please go! Found nothing wrong with the place, other than the price.
