They hosted a festival for young aspiring artists to perform their original music. Great experience for everyone.
I just wanted to take the time to share my experience. I recently lost my wallet at the venue and called to check if there was a lost and found. I had left a message, and a young gentleman named Christian called me back right away to get more details. He personally went out and walked around the venue looking for my wallet, and even reached out to the staff who worked the event that night to see if it had been turned in. Unfortunately, it wasn’t found, but I truly appreciate the effort he put in. Whether it was protocol or not, I feel he went above and beyond and deserves to be recognized for his outstanding customer service. Thank you, Christian!
I love the park attached. Never have I attended any of the events inside the center, so I cannot say anything about the indoor experiences. Overall a safe family environment. The hills are fun to roll down on and sled in winter. The summer events outside are really nice. Fridays are full of treats to purchase from food trucks. Everyone brings their friendly neighborly personalities and hope it stays that way. All parks should be this organized.
Great place to walk, relax, read a book or bring a blanket or chair. Love having a community garden plot! Great sun, water and space to learn and grow. Check it out!
I absolutely love this park! Every time I go I find something new that I never noticed before. There are paved paths to walk, baseball fields, a soccer field, a great playground with equipment, two different waterfalls, a mini putting green, a little community garden, a snack bar, a wooded area with benches, a little outdoor "museum" of antique farming equipment, and a path that marks out the relative distance of all the planets. This is a fantastic place to stop on your way home from work to get in a little walk, or to take your kids for an outing. Only downside is that it isn't closer to home!!
