The staff was polite, knowledgeable & helpful. The prices were reasonable & compatible with large store names.
With being a smaller business they are more attentive to individuals & take the time to inform their customers of updates for having a more hopeful & enjoyable outcome of their fishing experience.
I recommend J & J Sports for your fishing needs from permits, to bait, to rods & reels, traps, lures, rigging, etc.

Bryan and Pablo beautiful example of business leadership , always excellent rapport with anglers experience and novice Bryan got me into saltwater fishing and Pablo got me in to fly fishing word !
We love coming to this bait store for our fishing needs. Such a welcoming and friendly staff. We picked up some clam last night and this morning we caught one 11 inch porgy and one 9 inch porgy in Robert Moses! Woo hoo! Thank u guys
I’m Greatful for J&J sports / Fishing store. They rejuvenated my childhood love of fishing & being near the water. The staff helped me choose the best fishing rod & tackle box to start. I’ve moved up to crab nets, crab lights & they always stay open an extra few minutes if I call for bait after work!
Highly recommended! Staff is amazing and very informative. Had my rod custom made by Andy and it turned out phenomenal. Frequent updates and speedy responses. Will definitely come back next time.
