J & R's Steak House

Staff was friendly, prices were reasonable, food was very well made not too heavily seasoned. Something on the menu for all ages.

Oh my God I went there for the first time just the other week and I felt like I was transported back to the awesome 80s. The atmosphere was like a fun bar with high tops TVs everyone talking to each other. I had a Surf and her for 35 box which included a lobster tail and a beautiful filet mignon black Angus. I can’t wait to go here again even though I have to drive 40 minutes from my house it’s totally worth it.

Mussels, onion soup was delicious.
Liquor tasted like a juice so, not happy about it. Our server was great!

We’ve been dining at J & R steak house (all the locations) for past 2 decades.
We like to come to Medford since it’s close to the highway.
Past few weeks we went to dine 3 times and all those times everything was excellent!

Porterhouse (marinated) and ribeye steaks are always excellent! Ribs were juicy and it was a huge portion. Sweet potato fries were perfect.
French onion soup was so tasty. Not too salty and has right amount of sherry and overflowing cheese.. one of the best!
My husband and kids always order chili and they use steak for chili and it’s very substantial. Cheese cake is the best dessert you can get.

They have a set menu and I always order appetizer, soup or salad and dessert. What an amazing deal. They have so many lunch special deals.

In the last 4-8 months, we came to dine and quality was slipping but now everything is perfect. I can highly recommend J& R steak house to dine for lunch or dinner. Great food, pricing and value and you will not be disappointed.
