Got caught in the infamous NY snow storm with it being extremely hard to drive on the freeway, but luckily the owners at Lagrange Inn were super considerate and saved us from the horrible weather. It was such a lovely stay too and everyone and the staff were very nice and accommodating
Great location, just off the Taconic Parkway with restaurants that can deliver & grocery stores about 12 minutes drive.
Comfortable, clean, modern rooms with nice kitchenette.

I spent one night here with my boyfriend while visiting family in town. Loved it here. It had everything you could possibly need. The hosts were extremely responsive, and it was really nice being able to communicate via text. Easy parking and self-keyless entry. Fully stocked kitchenette with a large fridge. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfy. I loved that the nightstands had convenient charging ports and the AC worked really well. TV had streaming services and made or stay more home-like. It's modern and very clean. The only suggestion I have, and it's only because I actually needed one at the time, is an iron. I would've loved the convenience of a clothes iron in the room. Otherwise, everything was 10 out of 10. We couldn't stop commenting on how impressed we were. It was as if the host thought of everything possible. Our family is actually moving, and it was kind of upsetting that we won't have the need to experience a stay here again. Don't hesitate in booking; it was great!
Was only supposed to stay for weekend but ending up staying for a week. Check in was really easy. The room was a nice size and comfy. The kitchenette was well stocked and stores are nearby. And they conveniently have a laundry.
Have family in Millbrook but there wasn’t enough space to stay in the family home. Found this place online very similar to an inn near our hometown—VRBO style reservation with keyless entry.
It appears to be an old motel that has been renovated, complete with graveled parking. The old nonfunctional registers in the bathroom and bedroom (and slight old odor as you enter) give it away as do the doorframes that show the wear and tear you’d expect from an older motel but It’s all been painted over and they’ve worked very hard to modernize/update the space. New floors and windows with curtains. Rooms very starkly decorated but when you don’t need much, it’s perfect.
Extra blankets and perhaps four pillows for each bed (two firm and two soft) would have been appreciated as one firm and one soft pillow for each bed did not make it as comfortable for two of the four of us staying in one room. Would’ve also appreciated a luggage rack or a bench/ottoman at the foot of the bed.
Dressers would be a necessity if you’re considering an extended stay. A shower organizer would also be nice as there are no shelves to place personal items like razors or our own shampoo/conditioner. Body/hair soap, conditioner, hand soap and lotion were graciously provided. New bathroom sink/fixtures/toilet and walk-in shower much appreciated as well.

Kitchenette seemed well-stocked though we didn’t use it, complete with sponge and dish soap.
Overall very clean and very easy to book and use. Right off the Taconic (though we did take backroads to get there from the farm in Millbrook). Thank you for a very pleasant stay! Will be sure to stay again with our next trip!
