Lakeview House

My wife and I had our second anniversary at the Lakeview House restaurant. We were able to sit outside and watch the sunset over the lake. It was a colder night but the staff worked hard to bring heaters over and light them even though there were not that many people outside. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was serene. I would highly recommend this place for dinner and special occasions. There is a bar inside as well patrons can sit at and enjoy.

Beautiful restaurant overlooking a scenic lake creates a romantic casual vibe as we dined outside listening to a talented keyboard player and singer. The service was a little slow but we were relaxing and not in a rush. The waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

The calamari and marinara sauce was A plus plus. The flatbread pizza was a perfect appetizer as well with plenty of different flavors. Stuffed pork loin was delicious and cooked perfectly. Also ordered the pasta special which had a unique flavorful Alfredo sauce and was very good. Our salads were very fresh and tasty. Desserts were a miss and a bit of a letdown. Alcoholic drinks were strong and hit the spot.

Parking was good, restrooms were an issue as I tried several times but the men's room was locked and in use. Pricing was a little high but it's a great atmosphere and worth it. Definitely will return and recommend to others.

The food is absolutely incredible and the service is fantastic! You have to get the clams and dip their bread in the broth - it's a must!!

I was genuinely surprised by this hidden gem off the beaten path in the countryside. Right from the start, my server Mary impressed me with her knowledge and warm, personable approach. Even the brunette server, though not attending to my table, was friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely incredible—I hadn’t expected to be this impressed!

I initially chose my meal online, but after hearing the specials, I completely changed my order to the butternut squash soup, blackened swordfish, and warm apple dessert. Every bite was exceptional. The view of the lake from the dining room only added to the experience. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Truly a delightful discovery!

This restaurant never disappoints! I've been here about 10 times (not nearly enough) and it has consistently been a tastebud pleasing experience. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. I talk about my meal for days after. The waitstaff has always been kind, courteous and quick to serve you and get rid of extra empty plates so you can pick your selection of fabulous desserts. Next time I'll need to make alittle later reservation so I can experience the beautiful sunset on the lake.
If you haven't been to Lakeview House, you're missing out on a wonderful tasty experience 😋
