He does quality work and has reasonable prices.

If I could rate MAC Roofing and Construction higher than 5 stars, I would. The job they did reroofing my large Barn and Chicken House in October of 2024 was completed in one day. I was amazed! Matthew’s crew worked from 7:15 in the morning and finished by 4 PM. It included tearing the asphalt shingles, underlayment, and 4 or 5 4’x8’ plywood panels that were infected with mildew. The roofing process was amazing to watch. Three roofers worked like an atomic clock in terms of precision. These men are true professionals. Everything is straight and true on both buildings, including the top of a cupola on top of the barn, the painted sides of which they also cleaned so that it looks like new.

Matthew came to my home to do an estimate, and was far more thorough than his two competitors. He pointed out problems they hadn’t seen and would probably charged extra to remediate. His estimate was detailed and came within 24 hours, with a price tag that was in the middle of the other two. I also felt, because of his thoroughness, candor, and politely professional style of communication, that I could trust him. Throughout the process he was a pleasure to work with.

Upon completion they completely cleaned up. Not a scrap of asphalt was anywhere to be found on the ground. I told Matthew that I would be happy to give a review, but only after waiting a few months to see how things looked after snow, ice and rain had some time to challenge his work. After a stormy Winter, my barn and chicken house are completely dry, with no signs of leaks, even with the high winds we have had in February.

Bottom line, all I can say regarding MAC roofing is Bravo! And thank you.

This crew was punctual, courteous and professional. I had to call about damage done to my roof from an old satellite dish being ripped off my roof during a storm. The quote was reasonable and written up well. The crew got up on the roof to fix the issue and they saw a few other things that needed buttoning up so they fixed it for no extra cost.

I highly recommend Matthew and his company. His crew replaced my roof and fixed some leak problems in a day, with a few hours more the following day putting up a new gutter system. Very efficient! Also made sure the grounds were cleaned up. Before work began, Matthew walked me through the issues with my roof and wrote a clear proposal with a reasonable price. So, I’m quite pleased.

Matthew and his crew were amazing. First of all, the price quote was half the other guys. Then, they did the job and wow! Excellent quality, over-delivered, and left the site as clean as when they arrived. His guys were fearless - like on the edge of my roof 2-stories up, no ladder, kneeling down and not a shimmy, shake, or wobble. They knocked it out in an afternoon. I will most definitely give this crew more work. I've already recommended him to my brother and a friend. Finally, a contractor who kept his word, did more than promised, and left a positive impression.
