My kids love pizza but being originally from the Bronx we’re very picky about our pizza. Due to some health issues I have to limit carbs so I’ve been trying to find pizza with cauliflower crust. Mima’s offers a delicious cauliflower crust. I had a margarita pizza on a cauliflower crust. My kids had a hamburger, buffalo chicken pizza and pepperoni pizza the last time we went. We’ve been here a few times and they like to try something different each time. The menu is pretty extensive and has a lot of great options. We’ll be back.

I never thought I would drive ten miles to pick up a pizza, but I will for this place. The local pizza around me is just awful. This place nails it, for my tastes, maybe not yours though. Very thin, crispy crust, no flop, good sauce, and not too much sauce or cheese. You can pull a slice without the whole pie falling apart. I used to occasionally visit their old location in Yorktown, and I thought the pizza was very good.

Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and fast. Went around the time they opened and there were so many made options already. Plenty of drink options as well. There were many different specialty slices as well that looked delicious and next time we go we will definitely be trying them. Definitely recommend!

This pizza joint is the TRUTH! I wanted to rate it 4.5 but that is not possible and they deserve the benefit of any doubt. I live only a few miles away. We need a quality Italian restaurant slash pizza 🍕 joint nearby. Nestled in a quiet corner, Mimas has both inside and outside seating. Immediately upon arrival, I noticed a decor and overall atmosphere boost from the previous pizza place that was in the same space. It looks better than a simple take-out spot but it is obviously not a white linen place either. We arrived at what I thought would be a busy time however the place was empty. Jennifer was our server. She was polite and attentive. In the warming display at the counter, we looked at all manner of colorful and creative pizzas. They all looked yummy. I visited with a certified pizza expert, my young son. I ordered the chicken parmesan, my test meal, and my son ordered the medium cheese pie. If a place can not get these basic orders right then there is no need to try anything else. THEY GOT IT RIGHT! The chicken parm dinner was proceeded by a fresh salad with house dressing and bread. The right size and delicious. Both meals came out in a reasonable time as hot as the fires of Hell. Warning Will Robinson, ⚠️ the food is made immediately and served right out of the oven. The roof of your mouth is in jeopardy. The chicken parmesan meal was generous, enough for a take-home container. The pasta was prepared properly and most importantly there was enough sauce to adequately compliment the plate. For me, the sauce was just good. Not that it was bland but I LOVE what some people might think is heavy seasoning. The cutlets were thin, crispy, and of good quality. The pizza was of a thin-crust variety. The resident pizza expert chowed down like a man condemned. I heard the crunch as he bit into the perfect slices. Two pieces managed to survive for a snack later that evening. If I had any concerns about an otherwise great experience they would be the following... 1. The chairs were uncomfortable to my old booty. They appeared padded but I wonder if they had newspaper in them. It felt like the old days on the Motor Vehicle benches. 2. The bathroom was NOT DIRTY but looked less than attended. Additionally, there was only a single restroom for all genders, blenders and staff. If someone had the trots you would have to dash across the parking lot to KFC and ask to make a courtesy deposit. 3. None of my business but the place seemed to have way too many staff on hand. I counted AT LEAST 7 or 8 people with Mimas shirts on. That's a lot for 4 customers. I recon it is a family business but business-minded one must be to keep afloat these days. THE FOOD, LOCATION, VARIETY AND SERVICE IS A-1. I hope that they don't sink their own ship because of over staffing issues. On a side note, they cater and seem to have a lively take out and perhaps delivery service. The prices seemed very reasonable. I am a little frugal so I cringe at any bill but I think that since we got effectively 4 meals out of our visit I can not complain. This place has become the go-to pizza place for my family. Your mileage may vary

What a welcome addition to an area that has very limited good dining choices. Mima’s is the real deal! My husband and son went there and they talked about it so much, they took me. I was totally impressed. One of my favorite Italian dishes is Zuppa di Pesce and that dish at Mimas does not disappoint. The sauce was authentic and delicious and it was chock FULL of fresh seafood! In addition, the owner Mario and his staff are friendly, welcoming and committed to making their customers happy. So excited they have opened!
