We have a very nervous dog whom we have put a lot of effort into helping over the years, however as with many pets going to the vet is still difficult. It makes all the difference in the world if the veterinary staff understands anxious dogs and are able to take the appointment slowly while avoiding crowding him as much as possible. The staff here was perfect in that regard. I have moved a lot and seen a lot of vets over the years, so I feel confident in saying the level of care they offer here is well above average. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone with nervous pets.

Super sweet staff! ❤️ the team was able to fit me in last minute to help my cat with an ear infection. Dr. L was super attentive and listened to everything I had to say, while giving me advice and taking her time to treat my kitty cat! This was my cat’s first appointment after his adoption and they were able to help me get his previous vet records from different animal hospitals Thanks y’all! ❤️🐾

We had an emergency with our dog. We called the office, explained the problem, and they got us in that day. This was our first visit. We were very happily surprised. Everyone, from the receptionist, the assistants, the vet techs and the doctor could not have been nicer, kinder or more gentle. And Dr. Lavigne called us first thing the next morning to follow up. We hope it's like this everytime. We will come back. Thank you to everyone for treating our fur baby so wonderfully.

I have a very anxious cat who needed to have many teeth removed. The staff was so friendly and very attentive to my cat’s needs. They also went out of their way to make sure she wasn’t in the waiting room or in the back with dogs to try to keep her as calm as possible. Overall we had a really positive experience and I would highly recommend Mohegan Lake Vet.
