NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health

Everyone was nice. Very helpful and courteous. There was even a lady whose job it was to spend time w pts-- just to talk. She spent abt 30 mins w me. My family was impressed also even before they reached my room.

I was taken to ER South Brooklyn Health hospital with very bad arrythmia, high blood preassure and difficulty breathing. It was on October 29, 2025 .
The admission desk people were very efficient and I was very soon taken to ER. I stayed there about 6 hours during which all necessary tests were made which happily ruled out heart attack. I was very lucky to have doctor Rachel Kirzhner who explained very clearly in plain English my situation ,giving me later instructions and also managing to calm me down. I think ER is very fortunate to have her on staff.
I was also pleased with my nurse Kimberly Hilaire who took excellent care of me . The doctor and the nurse worked as a good team, being very efficient but also friendly and sympathetic. I wish this ER to keep up a good job! Lots of thanks!

I had a C-section 2/12/25 to my baby boy Cyrus . I came in super early I would say one of the nurse was rude , but the other nurse took care of me . And checked me in. And then finally some hours later boom my baby is in my arms. I JUST WANT TO SAY EVERYONE IN THE C-SECTION ROOM WAS AMAZING THE WAY THEY WORK TOGETHER COMMUNICATE I WAS SO GRATEFUL FOR EVERYONE THERE! THANK YOU ESPECIALLY TO THE DOCTOR WHO DID THE C-SECTION AND EVERYONE WHO HELPED! The nurse who cared for my baby right after was amazing. Now after I was brought upstairs it’s a bit different lol some of the nurses might be overwhelmed because they’ve worked to many hours or they are learning and it’s busy lol so with that I would say if you don’t like something address it they will work with you and are very understanding, and don’t forget to speak up! Someone will help you. My stay was amazing the food was so good and thank you again .
