Our whole family trains at Over Under Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Professor Ramon is absolutely wonderful! He is amazing with the kids providing a structured respectful class, teaching them confidence and the foundations of jiu jitsu. The adult classes are equally as great and Professor has an amazing ability to teach very technical skills. Over Under is truly a family environment!
My daughter and son (now 10 & 7 yo) have been training with Professor Ramon since he opened his Miller Place door in May of 2021. We cannot say enough good things about the school and Professor Ramon. He is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable, all while making them work hard. It is a mental and physical workout for them that they enjoy. It has taught them skills that will help them on the mat and in life that is truly priceless. We highly recommend Over/Under.

We absolutely love this jiu-jitsu studio! My 8-year-old son has been attending for a few months now, and it’s been such a positive experience. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and great with kids. One of the best things about this studio is the flexibility — classes are offered four days a week, and we can choose to attend just one or all four depending on our schedule. That kind of freedom is rare and super helpful for busy families. My son looks forward to every class, and we’ve already seen great improvements in his confidence, focus, and coordination. Highly recommend!
Absolutely love Over Under academy! Thought I would give jiujitsu a try at 53 years young and couldn’t have felt more welcomed and comfortable. The class feels like a family atmosphere, very positive, supportive, everyone is welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. Professor Ramon is excellent, extremely patient and very encouraging, keeps you motivated and makes you feel that anything is possible. It is evident he puts his heart into this academy and instructing. It has been an exceptional experience and I can’t recommend them enough!!
