I was treated so well by the young men who are attending the lot last night. It so happened that my key was dead and unlike others who would leave me to my own devices, they helped me find my car in the dark. Of course, as I was clicking the key the car wasn’t beeping. My key was dead. Then we tried to call Enterprise and of course Enterprise was open the next day at 8 AM. The young men whose names I unfortunately forgot (but will not forget in general) treated me with the utmost respect and I hope vice versa. They made the proper suggestions at the right junctures and we all negotiated a solution. A flatbed truck came out at the time promised (and the the guys in that truck were standup too) and the parking attendants knew exactly where to tell the emergency personnel to go. It turns out that there was a little glitch with the rental car that the flatbed took care of and I was soon home. Meanwhile, I was talking to the young men about Music and society and a certain community to the south. They were really smart! They heard me and I heard them and little did I know that they were only 19. They were real men, adults and I hope for them the best.
Big lot, but very overpriced. $17 to park in a muddy swamp with mosquitoes attacking you. The lot is not paved and has no drainage, so you will be running through ankle deep mud to get across the lot. My shoes were ruined after parking and waking across the lot. It was also only half lit after dark, much of the lot was very dark. For the price, I would have expected a valet to park for me. If you can, absolutely save your money and take a taxi to the ferry.
Big open lot, so make sure you go early!
Only 1 star off because they charge by the whole day as oppose to hourly. Unfortunately I realized that the ferry’s schedule was very early at night, so we winded up not going at all since we didn’t attempt to risk the last ferry back. We spent $16 for parking for 10 minutes haha. I wish they had a 20 minute rule to where you can leave the lot Incase of a situation like I had, or have a system where it’s $5 per hour then max of $16 all day.
If you’re going early, obviously this con isn’t going to affect you.
