Stopped in for a slice which was Long Island great!
BUT. I noticed something that I SHOULD have gotten. (Shoulda, Would, Coulda)
In front of the pizzas in the 'window' as you walk in, eye these unusual, yummy looking things. A reeeeely nice gentleman named Ryan explained that he made these stuffed, (into what looked like a straight croissant) pepperoni, ricotta....ahhhh.... thing, with basil and a teeny bit of honey on top and also on top, were sprinkled what you'd see on an Everything Bagel.
Now. I didn't have one. They're made to order, and Ryan said that he'd gotten the idea from an Italian eatery in Brookly.
I ASK YOU --
How can not be good???
Sorry if I'd gotten any ingredients wrong....
But I'll be in one of these days to try one. (Or 2. Or 3. Or...)
Happy Basildays!!!
My 5 stars is in no way shape or form an overrating. My companion and I have been, over a major amount of time, ordering from a multitude of pizza shops, pick up,delivery and rides hare deliveries. We've been left unsatisfied. But last night ordered from Rubinos and valla pizza the way it should be. The garlic knots melted with savory style. My companion ordered also a chicken roll and she had mentioned overall that she loved the meal. Good job.
Now i remember why I don’t order from them anymore. Was told within the hour when I placed the order for 1 large pie. After an hour 15 minutes I called them and was told its on its way and will arrive shortly. Ten minutes later, they call me and tell me the pizza will be delivered in 10 minutes (mind you, I’m less than half a mile from their store. When the pizza arrived, it was a mess. Partly folded over itself in the box. And although it wasn’t cold, it wasn’t hot either. The cheese was died out and it was awful. To the trash it went. Very disappointed!😔
Rubino’s is one of the best in the area. No joke pizza. I always order well done as I prefer my pizza to be crispier.
Drunken margarita (vodka margarita) is legend. The pesto oil they use here is so good. Sandwiches and pinwheels are also great. Probably can’t go wrong with anything here.
Family owned Italian restaurant since '72, the dad Nick was the cook and his 2 sons were working the front. Absolutely the best Italian place (the white pizza was amazing, so good I forgot a photo lol). I tried to convince them to come open one in Orlando lol. If you are ever in the area, please check this place out!!
