This place used to have great pizza; however, over the last year the quality has really gone down hill and the last time we got pizza it tasted like plastic. A whole large pizza in the garbage because it was obviously contaminated. Prior pizzas have been under cooked to the point that the crust was literally raw dough. As far as the dining experience, it's like eating in a bodega rather than a pizza shop. Go, literally, anywhere else.
Siena’s Pizza is a small spot, but I really liked the open kitchen setup—you can see them making the pizza, which is a nice touch. I was a little hesitant to order after reading some mixed reviews, but I decided to give it a shot.
I placed a phone order for pickup, and the lady on the phone was really sweet and patient, making sure everything was correct. She told me the order would be ready in 25 minutes, and when I arrived after 35 minutes, it was already waiting for me—perfect timing.
The prices are reasonable, and the food did not disappoint. The pizza was excellent, definitely one of the best around. I also ordered wings, asking for them well done, and they were cooked perfectly—crispy and flavorful. The cheesesteak, however, was just okay; the bread wasn’t great, which took away from the experience.
Overall, I’ll definitely be coming back for the pizza and wings. If you’re in Monticello and craving a solid slice, Siena’s is worth a try!
Best pizza in Monticello for sure. They offer many choices and their Chicken BBQ pie is amazing. Been coming here for many years now and it’s always great.
During the summer the area is congested but still worth it.
