T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods is always a fun place to browse, and this location has a mix of good and not-so-great moments, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. On the positive side, the store has a huge selection, especially in seasonal décor. The Christmas section was colorful, well-stocked, and had a lot of unique items you don’t always find in other stores. If you enjoy holiday shopping or like discovering random treasures, this place definitely has variety.
The home section also had some nice finds, from kitchen gadgets to pillows to small gift sets. Prices were fair, and there were plenty of options for last-minute gifts. You can tell they try to keep the store refreshed with new merchandise.
However, the organization needs work. Some aisles felt cluttered, and a few areas looked like they hadn’t been straightened up in a while. Items were out of place, and it made browsing a little frustrating at times. Compared to other locations, this store just didn’t feel as neat or put together. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either.
On the bright side, the staff was friendly and checkout was quick, which helped the overall experience.
This T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods has potential, and there are good deals to be found, but the store could use better organization to reach that 4- or 5-star level.
I usually shop at HomeGoods in the morning, and the service is excellent. The ladies at the register are always pleasant and helpful. However, the evening crew is the complete opposite — they act like they don’t want to be there and do nothing to help. I will never go back in the afternoon. It’s sad to see that this young generation has no sense of proper customer service.
