Torrid

I write a mixed review, night & day experience I had in The Torrid in Poughkeepsie. 1st off my bad experience, On Thursday Night (05/01). I was at the mall with the intention of running into Torrid for some essentials leggings& camis, i did come in late in the hours of operation but i think that in no way excuses the behavior of the young sales associate who was closing. I came in I want to say 5 minutes to close, which again i know is late but again walking in, grabbing my stuff & leaving 3 items I already knew i wanted. As soon as I walk in I'm greeted with you know we close in 5 minutes right? No welcome ice cold annoyed tone. Absolutely unacceptable. Throughout the full 3 minute experience she is ON-TOP of me rushing me out of the store. Very un-pleasant experience. On the opposite end of things, I believe her name is Lisa. Yesterday I went in (05/05) AMAZING 10/10 experience. Ended up spending $200 dollars, she was working alone & so accomadating, when i liked items that were not available she ordered them for me online. Made sure i had a dressing room & amazing shopping experience. Really dissapointing that the same quality of service shown at my most recent experience cant be a universal one.

Update: i looked back at my receipt, the TERRIBLE associates name was Christina!!

Clean and nice store very organized located in the first floor of the mall . when you enter left side of macys. You need to pass gloria jeans coffe

First visit today and I thought the store was great. The customer service was excellent and the dressing rooms were very nice. I appreciate that it offers women's clothing sizes 12 and up. The prices were reasonable and they had a great sale going on today too! I will definitely be back.

Excellent source for cool clothing. I thought they offer only plus sizes but they have clothes for size 10 and up! Although their regular prices are high they always have fantastic sales for the budget conscious. Nice mix of casual, dressy, and work attire. Staff was friendly and helpful! Update ...Went back and had another excellent experience. Emily was so helpful. My daughter was looking for work appropriate attire. She found great pieces and could have ordered online if they didn't have something in her size store.
