When faced with the possibility of having breast cancer you want a great team caring for you. Your breast surgeons office should have someone answering the phone at the front desk. Not a 24/7 answering service where you have to wait for a call back to get help/answers/information during a particularly scary time in your life. Dr Habrawi is very sweet and caring however the way the office in Astoria (I cannot speak for their other location) is managed is unacceptable and no women should have to wait for a call back because they don’t have someone to answer the phone.
I am so grateful I was referred to Dr. Manolas! He was clear and direct about the challenges I was facing, as well as the range of solutions. His personable nature and "bedside manner" is so refreshing. I never felt rushed, despite knowing he had a waiting room full of patients, as he explained diet changes and surgical options. My case is a bit complex, so he refer me to another amazing specialist as well, and their collaboration (plus with the referring MD!) has proven to be an invaluable part of my care plan. He's been critical in helping me forge the plan back to a healthy life. I can't say enough about him - I feel lucky to be in his care.
Dr. Webman is amazing! She did my surgery- and is always so patient and kind. She takes a lot of time with her patients and calls back if you need her. I highly recommend-
