This place was my favorite breakfast spot

I love getting breakfast here, they have French toast and you can get it with fruit which I love. They also have lots of burger options for lunch. Typically fast service unless they're swamped (it's only 2 or 3 guys doing everything but they do it well!) An essential neighborhood fixture. Keep in mind, this is not a sit down restaurant!! Takeout only, cash only!

For Breakfast, I bought French Toast and an Omelet.

Most bodegas in the area don't make French Toast (a few don't know what French Toast is), so I was fortunate to discover that this place makes French Toast.

There isn't much room to eat inside the place, so I think it's mostly take out orders.

My food was ready relatively quickly. Approximately 5 minutes and the food itself was fine in a basic way.

The memories of this essential "dining pit" are wide as they are precious. Steve the original owner, was an example of a fine and caring human being. Not sure of his current statusn. Memories that won't erase. Art the turn of this century, when Steve can't would feed us at 7am in the morning after we got broke after pulling an all nighter, galloping from one juke 🎶 joint to another, just having a funky good ole time 🥳🥂🍾For nearly 4 decades I've eaten just about every meal on their posted menu from bfast to dinner. This menu is really full. It's nice to see this timeless and lasting food joint on St. Nicholas Ave. next to the 148th street subway entrance still servicing the community. TExas⭐️ burgers & fries were the absolute truth. But, it was all day breakfast platters that keep them in the groove. I ordered French fries: $3,50.
I remember when a big order was "a buck fiddy"🤑
The french fries are STILL, crunchy outside & hot/fluffy inside 🍟 They keep it simple.
Idk ,Jackson Hole, T⭐️, burgers have always been the best 🍔 That's what's UP! Much Respect Steve &Crew. 1LuV🤩🥓
Love💕 & Light🕯 to all my peops present & in the next realm 😇
