The Fifth Season

I recently visited for a work dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Food was incredible! Hummus had a hint of curry in it, I’m typically not a huge fan of curry and I LOVED IT! The filet mignon was made to perfection. Don’t even get me started on the crème brûlée! Everything was super fresh and made with love and happiness. I will definitely be coming back regularly. An easy 10/10… honestly, more like 100/10!

We had dinner reservations at another venue, prior to securing a reservation at the Fifth Season. Parking was a little challenging being g Saturday late afternoon in the heart of Port Jefferson and all, but a beautiful late afternoon walk was perfect as we took in the sites on the way. We were a group of 8 people in total and 4 of us were already on site.
Overlooking Port Jefferson Harbor, seated by the windows provided a really good view of the immediate outdoors and the harbor.
The staff was very accommodating and seated us rather quickly.
The hosts and servers were in tune with our needs and were extremely on point.
My opinion, the dinner 🍽 menu was a little refined and thin, but the food was prepared as anticipated and very good nonetheless.
The Kobe Burger 🍔 😋 👌 was on point with expectations, topped with mushrooms 🍄 😋 a small side of string fries 🍟 😋 was just the perfect amount of food for me.

All in all it was a nice experience to gather around with some current friends, friends from the past and new additions to the group.
I'd dine here again.

Great choice for happy hour, where from 4 to 7 on most days there are bar bites and drinks for $8 each. Nice to get a table with a view of the harbor. The music can be too loud at time, which is tough for conversation

This is one of our favorite spots. We started with cocktails and tuna tartare on the veranda. While the flavors were excellent, the portion size was a bit meager for $17 price point. We thought we may have received the happy hour portion vs full
price portion. From there, we moved to the outdoor seating for dinner. The Burrata appy was sublime- excellent flavors, eggplant accoutrements exceptional. I had the summer gnocchi-the basil cream sauce was excellent-my husband had the sea bass-also excellent. The almond cake dessert was surprisingly light and the ginger sauce added a nice kick. Service was friendly and on point. We’ll be back!

Must say this place surprised my wife and I. Our server was named Vinny. Great server very attentive and he knew his menu pretty well. The food as you can see was super delicious. The pate in the beginning with the mini toasted bread slices was unbelievable. The strawberry lemonade was spot on. The seats are pretty small outdoor but comfortable enough to enjoy dinner and the scenery makes it easier to deal with. The wife had a delightful chicken salad. I enjoyed a superb lobster roll with some of the world's most delicious parmesan french fries. The presentation for our little celebration of not only our anniversary but also my birthday was amazing. They served us 4 cups of ice cream that was to die for. Especially the Nutella ice cream. Everything was spectacular. We look forward to returning to this restaurant for another date night. Thank you very much for the experience.
