Best place to go for your wine & liquor needs whether you're local or not! Though I'm close by, I will still go out of my way to shop here when coming from another direction. They carry what you need but also select products not seen everywhere. More than that I go here because the owners treat you like family and are good people. I definitely know a lot more about my wines and what I like now. It's not your average wine & liquor store, these folks clearly care about their business and community, and it shows.
Surfside and High noon are only $0.50 more than Total Wine Warehouse and Jim Beam is the same price. The big brands are sparse but plenty of better options if you ask the sommelier there.
Cute dog. A lot of parking. Grocery store next door has great fruit.
This is my go-to spot for wine and liquor.
The owners are lovely, and always super helpful when I have requests for wine / flavor profiles. I've been recommended some of my new favorite wines (typically Spanish / Italian reds) from here.
It's also always nice to get a warm welcome from Brownie when I walk through the door.
Bottom line, this is a fantastic, locally-owned small business that provides a much better experience than large / chain liquor stores.
South Salem is blessed to have this fantastic store so close. They are trans/queer friendly, extremely knowledgeable about all of their products, they go out of their way to make sure you find the right product for you, and they are dedicated to having only high quality products. Sometimes this means that they don't have a brand that you are looking for but do not fear, they have something better and often at the same or lower price. The products are eco-friendly, minimally processed and they are very knowledgeable on which are vegan and so on. Its basically a top-tier spirits store that you would expect to find as a specialty in a big city but nestled away out here in our beautiful forest.
