WSMDA is amazing. The instructors are great and the training is very hands on. They make sure you get placed in a job after your internship, which gives you real momentum starting out. The support is unbelievable, if you’re in a tough financial situation, they truly go out of their way to make sure you can start your healthcare career. The culture is like family and welcoming. It genuinely feels like home. Thank you WSMDA!
Great experience at Westchester School For Medical and Dental Assistants!
Back in February I completed the EKG program and just recently completed the Phlebotomy program and I am really glad I chose this school. The program was well structured and covered everything from anatomy and safety protocols to professionalism in the workplace. The hands on training was especially valuable we had plenty of opportunities to practice venipunctures and other techniques for the phlebotomy program and lead placement for the EKG program under supervision. The staff were also very helpful with certification prep and job placement guidance. If you’re serious about becoming a phlebotomist or EKG technician and want thorough training, I highly recommend Westchester School For Medical and Dental Assistants.
If you're looking to enter the medical field and this school is within your logistical reach, I highly recommend it. The instructors are knowledgeable, direct, and ensure you learn exactly what you need to know—without wasting your time.
While the tuition may seem a bit steep compared to other schools, the quality of education and training you receive is absolutely worth it. You truly get what you pay for and more. If you show up to class, pay attention, follow the rules and do all the work / studying required of you; it actually becomes hard to not pass any class here.
The staff is not only professional, but also very supportive and understanding. They genuinely want to see you succeed and provide the guidance needed to help you. If you're serious about building a medical career, this is truly a great place to start.
This school has some things they could do better considering the amount of money students pay to attend such a short course. But on the bright side staff members of this school are always polite and always always help you if they can. Even after 6 years of finishin the dental assistant course , I’ve contacted them back, sometimes for interview placements, sometimes to referal letters, sometimes for something else. And each time they have responded with kindness and tried their best to help you.
I am very thankful to the staff of this school and I recommend the school to anyone who wants to be a Dental or Medical assistant. This school will have your back even after you finish your course.
I attend the Dental Assistant Program here at WSMDA and I have to say that I’ve never had a teacher like Ms.Campusano. I have never been so focused and excited to learn more about teeth because of her and all of my classmates make it enjoyable as well. The vibes are great, it doesn’t feel like a competition (like high school) and no one is competing against each other. Everyone is super supportive and help each other grow. Great classroom. You can tell Ms.Campusano loves what she does and wants us to succeed. She loves her students and always makes sure that each and every one of us know what we just read/learned in class before we move on to another chapter. No lie I’m so happy I came to this school. If you come here, do the dental assistant program with Ms. Campusano!!! She’s the BEST!
