When I first met Alex, I was going through a really rough period in my life. I was overweight and developed vestibular migraines, feeling nauseous with pain in my head and neck all of the time. I had never experienced anything like this before. The medication I was taking made me hungry all of the time. With Alex's help - and some physical therapy - I was able to make good food choices, including the combination of good proteins with healthy fats, low sugar foods without those pesky sugar additives that are bad for you, and learned how to lower my intake of daily grains.
Each week, we discuss what I have eaten. With her help, I have learned how to make healthy eating choices, how to choose what to eat when I dine out, and how to eat sweets in moderation. As a result, I have lost 30 pounds.
