Got my panda corydoras from here a month or two ago. Been healthy and awesome since, reasonable price.
4 words... Dan The Fish Man! He is a wealth of knowledge. Helped me set up my first few tanks and they are still thriving with life.
Disclaimer- Frequent visits to this store will create an addiction to building aquariums, you have been warned.
We recently purchased a 60-gallon saltwater aquarium and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We shopped around at other local stores and almost purchased a different set up however we felt the staff was nice but did not know enough about it. The Fish Factory staff provided clear professional guidance in selecting the right cost effective equipment and took the time to explain the setup and maintenance process in detail.
Installation was completed efficiently and professionally, with everything properly leveled, secure, and calibrated. The team also assisted with the rock design, initial water preparation and salinity checks, ensuring the system was ready for success.
Let me say I can be very finicky and the quality of the aquarium and the service provided exceeded expectations. We highly recommend their expertise to anyone considering a professional saltwater aquarium setup.
We’ll be in the store soon- Looking for coral and fish recommendations. We can’t wait to add livestock!
Thank you!
This place has that classic, old-school aquarium shop vibe that longtime hobbyists will appreciate. Their dry goods selection is top-notch — shelves are fully stocked with a wide variety of products, including great value brands like Hygger, which is always a plus. If you're hunting for a specific light or filter, chances are they have it.
One standout feature is their selection of used tanks and equipment — you can often find solid deals if you're looking to save a bit or pick up a backup piece of gear. Their pond supplies are also impressive, with a range of products that go beyond the basics.
On the livestock side, things are a bit mixed. The freshwater tanks could use a good cleaning — quite a few looked neglected. The saltwater setup was average, and while prices were fair, the labeling and organization in that section definitely need some attention. It can be hard to tell what's what or how much things cost.
Overall, a great place to browse dry goods and find equipment, especially if you're into DIY or looking for hidden gems. Just temper your expectations on the livestock side.
Let me know if you'd like a shorter version or want to post it under your name with tweaks to the tone.
