We used Dr. Gates to euthanize our amazing dog Koda. She arrived on time and was very efficient, which we found amazing. When it was time to take Koda away, she didn't allow us to pick him up or wrap him in his blanket; she just asked us to roll him over into the cold, hard bin. We were devastated, to say the least. We wouldn't have said anything, but when she brought the ashes to us, she had trouble getting into our gate. Her response, in a disturbing tone, was, "Can you just come here and pick him up," as if he were just a package being delivered. For this reason, we would not recommend her for this service.

Dr. Gates is simply wonderful. Her compassion and unmatched veterinary expertise are the perfect combination for our needs. She is professional & efficient. Our dogs love to see her, even when they need shots!

We have been with Dr. Karen Gates for about 37 years. She is awesome. She has always been there for our animals whenever we need her. We love that she is a visiting Vet so we don't have to traumatize our dogs and cats. 37 years we've had alot of pets.

Dr. Gates is amazing. My old vet had me coming in several times for x-rays and antibiotics and was just running up my bill. Dr. gates saw my doggie doodle and within five minutes knew exactly what was wrong. She prescribed the correct medication and within 24 hours Nay was feeling great. Dr. Gates returns your phone calls promptly and takes the time to listen to your concerns. She even called back my son, who lives out of town and needed a second opinion for girl Tula. Although Tula is not Dr. Gates patient, she took the time to talk to my son and explain the different options that he would have. She is very kind, competent, and I would highly recommend her
